Ok, not really molten... rather deformed.
This is what happened: I was printing some MiniMugs. But, instead of restarting the RepMan after a completed print as advised on the screen, I just went back and printed another one. This was going good for a couple of layers when suddenly the RepMan halted and began making a blob of ABS. This looks like a buffer overflow... but I don't know for sure, as I don't have the source.
I didn't react soon enough I guess, and the PTFE insulator twisted under the pressure. I think the toolhead has warmed up above 260°C, and the insulator with it above glass transition temp of PTFE.
