Good news!
Starting next month (September) - 4 fellow students and I - will begin to develop a RepRap machine at University College of Ghent (HoGent).
The project spans whole year and will be our Bachelor paper. (Vakoverschrijdend project)
Hopefully the progress of design will be quick so we can build the thing so we can build a RepRap so we can build a RepRap so we can... you get the picture.
I understand that fine-tuning a RepRap is a matter of trial and error, so actually building it will be the biggest challenge.
At HoGent we have some Rapid Prototyping specialist, so hopefully we can benefit from their experience in modelling, the use of materials, etc.
I believe collaborating with other people and organisations is an important aspect of a project, so any remarks are welcome. Of course, donations are also more than welcome (specify with "donation for the reprap")
